A friend suggested to meet here, as he thought it was one of the Filipino restaurants with the nicest ambiance, yet still reasonably priced. So here's my usual themed review--with a superhero mission that brings together DC and Marvel. After all, isn't the most-renown Filipino dessert "halo halo" or "mix-mix?" So let's mix it up with a DC-Marvel crossover. Noypitz: A Superhero Culinary Crossover Champion in in Cerritos Embarking on a culinary mission to Noypitz in Cerritos, we assembled the mightiest heroes from the DCU and MCU for an epic crossover event. This Filipino restaurant, with its "mix-mix" inspiration from the renowned Halo-Halo dessert, brings together a fusion of flavors and experiences worthy of the Justice League and the Avengers crossover collaboration! Ambiance: From the moment you step into Noypitz, you're greeted with beautiful decor reminiscent of Wonder Woman's Themyscira or Black Panther's wondrous Wakanda, with nice booths and tables that even Bruce Wayne or Tony Stark would find comfortable. The extremely vaulted, high ceilings provide a spacious atmosphere, perfect for Superman to stretch his legs--or Ant-Man to grow giant with his Pym Particles. The nice outdoor patio could easily be a rendezvous point for Black Widow and Hawkeye (would the Hulk get jealous?). The background pop music sets a moderate tone, suitable for a weeknight gathering of heroes to convene for Nick Fury's missions, though the live band on weekends might be more suited for Thor's grand revelries. Service Our service started out as swift and attentive as The Flash himself, but, unfortunately, the server didn't return to check in on us or refill our water, losing the swiftness of Quicksilver by 0.75 stars. A minor setback in an otherwise super heroic journey. Maybe Black Canary can shout with her legendary Canary Cry for a sonic scream of service. Oh well, Hank McCoy (aka the blue-furred X-Men's Beast) can convert the 0.75 to a better score next time. Or we can ask Plastic Man or the Fantastic Four's Reed Richard's (aka Mr. Fantastic) to stretch their arms to grab us water from behind the bar counter. We still tipped over 20% to be gracious. Food The true superpowers of Noypitz lie in its food. With a selection as vast as the X-Mansion's roster, every dish is prepared with the meticulous care of Doctor Strange crafting a spell. The traditional dishes burst with flavor, a harmonious symphony of taste that would make Aquaman and Namor proud across both Atlantean Kingdoms. With a large selection on the menu, even the most particular vegetarians will find options as diverse as the Guardians of the Galaxy. Though the menu had photos without descriptions, the categorization helped us navigate like Tony Stark analyzing a new tech blueprint. Thanks to my Filipino friend, who played the role of our culinary Professor X, we ordered the perfect dishes. Verdict Noypitz is a gathering place where heroes can dine and converse in fine decor at reasonable prices, reminiscent of the Avengers' post-battle shawarma sessions. With a few tweaks in service, it could easily reach the heights of Asgard or Krypton. We'll definitely return to explore more of their menu, and maybe next time, the server will have the persistence of Captain America. Overall, Noypitz earns a heroic 4.5 stars. Assemble your team and use this as your Hall of Justice on this flavorful super heroic quest!

So glad I found my new go-to spot for Filipino food! I've been here a handful of times and each experience has been just as good. My first experience with them was for a large gathering of 40+ people which fit comfortably in their restaurant, in addition to their usual nightly crowd. Food is always delicious and tastes home cooked.
